This photograph nearly was forgotten, until I looked through my archive to find something to hang on my wall. When I took this photo, I wasn’t impressed but after revisiting it a year later, I found it quite good, edited it and ordered a big print with a frame. The image stabilization of my G9 really helped with this photo, as the shutter speed was set to one second and I didn’t have a tripod on hand....

A rather simple picture with the classic “black and white with some colored parts” edit. I just wanted to try this out and thought this photo might look way more exiting this way. This image was taken on my last trip before the pandemic. I was on a trip to Berlin to visit a friend and go to a concert. Three days later you weren’t allowed to do nearly anything anymore. This image was taken from my balcony of my old flat in Darmstadt. I sometimes miss the view, because you could sometimes see really beautiful sunsets. This image was taken at the locally famous Rosenhöhe in Darmstadt, Germany. In summer, it’s the home of many roses in a beautiful garden, but at this time of the year I could only find beautiful stars. This image notes the first time I successfully captured the Milky Way. I used the new to me Laowa 7.5mm 2.0, which can deliver really nice images of the sky, even on my small 4/3 sensor. This image was taken in Rhineland-Palatinate besides a small road on a clear Saturday evening in October.
